I’m Tess Price — I hold a PhD in Adult Education from the University of Georgia, I’ve spent thirty years in corporate Learning and Development.
I have watched talented, motivated, capable people step into leadership roles and quietly struggle — not because they weren’t smart or skilled or committed, but because no one gave them the real support, the honest community, and the practical development they needed to grow into those roles with confidence.
At the same time, there is an entire generation of skilled, credentialed leadership coaches doing extraordinary work — who are struggling to be found. Not because their coaching isn’t excellent. Because visibility in a crowded market is hard, and building a client pipeline from scratch is a different skill entirely.
I kept thinking: these two groups need each other. Why isn’t there a place where they can find each other — and where the learning, the conversation, and the community can happen in the same space?
That question became Orchard Wellspring.
